![]() ![]() There are no activities you can do to earn House Points which is such a missed opportunity and would've made the ending actually satisfying because you actually worked your ass off the win the House Cup. There's also the duelling club but that was simply there so that you can get used to the combat system against dark wizards. Apart from the time trials with Imelda and Summoner's Court, there's hardly any activities you can do with other students. ![]() There are barely any activities to do in the school. You can only be friends with whoever the game wants you to. After that, they are just useless and have no purpose. Most of the classes are just single cutscenes which are simply there to introduce certain game mechanics. And that last point is just sad because this game was advertised as an immersive RPG as a Hogwarts student and it barely delivers on that. You can make the MC an auror in training instead of a Hogwarts student and nothing changes. You can take Hogwarts out of Hogwarts Legacy and the story plays the same. Which is why it's disappointing when you realise that as you go through the story, this well made castle barely plays much of a role. As you get lost in the castle, you come across so many detailed hallways and rooms and witness so many things going on in the background from other students doing their own thing, ghosts floating about the place, suits of armour beating each other to pieces and different students receiving different howlers which I thought was hilarious. The Hogwarts part of Hogwarts Legacy barely serves any purpose.ĭon't get me wrong, Hogwarts itself is beautiful. ![]()
